Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, and their families were nomads. They moved around in tents from Mesopotamia to Egypt! Hebrews describes them as "strangers...longing for a better country--a heavenly one" (Heb. 11:13, 16). And for this, they were commended!
