Compassion 365

We are about bringing Jesus’ hope to an imperfect world.
We serve our church family and local community through meaningful outreach, practical support, and partnerships that reflect Christ’s love in action.

If you feel called to serve, we invite you to explore our volunteer opportunities and share your contact information below. You can also select the areas that interest you and choose the serving frequency that best fits your season of life.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Benevolence Ministry
Compassion 365 volunteers support individuals and families within our church and community by assisting with rent, food, and emergency needs. Volunteers come alongside people facing hardship through prayer, resources, and practical care.
Care Club 365
This is where the description Care Club volunteers care for our church family by organizing meal trains, checking in on those we haven’t seen in a while, offering companionship to those who may feel alone, and bringing communion to those who are homebound. Through presence, prayer, and simple acts of love, volunteers help ensure no one walks alone.
Safe Harbor
Safe Harbor is a ministry of restoration serving individuals and families facing homelessness, domestic abuse, and major life hardships. Compassion 365 volunteers help through hands-on projects such as tiny home maintenance assistance, garden weeding, seasonal decorating, and other practical support as needed.
The GreenHouse Community Center
The GreenHouse’s mission is to cultivate a thriving community by nurturing the emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical development of youth. Compassion 365 volunteers support select activities and events hosted by The GreenHouse throughout the year.

Special Event Volunteer Opportunities

Compassion Coat Drive
In partnership with Natomas Unified School District, volunteers collect new coats for over 100 children who would otherwise go without. Volunteers add a handwritten prayer or blessing to each coat before it’s given to a child—sharing warmth, dignity, and Jesus’ love, one coat at a time.
Ready for Robla
This annual back-to-school event supports Robla School District’s neediest children. Compassion 365 volunteers collect new and gently used clothing beginning in June through August. On event day, volunteers set up the clothing and help provide a welcoming “shopping” experience for children and families—helping students feel prepared and confident for the first day of school.

Senior Service Night – Inderkum High School
Volunteers serve as judges as graduating seniors present their community service projects—celebrating their growth as engaged citizens. This event is usually held in May

Prison Ministry

Compassion 365 is prayerfully exploring the creation of a Prison Ministry.

Rooted in Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:36: “I was in prison and you came to visit me.” This ministry would seek to bring Jesus’ hope, dignity, and truth to incarcerated men and women through prayer, Scripture, encouragement, and meaningful connection, while also offering care and support to their families on the outside. We believe no one is beyond God’s love, redemption, or restoration. As this vision continues to take shape, we invite those with a heart to serve, pray, write letters, or explore visitation opportunities to express interest and learn more about how they may be part of this ministry.
